JCUA creates affordable housing opportunities for Chicago's diverse communities

JCUA believes that housing is a human right. Affordable, permanent, decent housing is essential for people to live with dignity and stability. JCUA pursues the revitalization and stabilization of Chicago’s low-income communities by working towards creating viable affordable housing options and community development projects which work to strengthen community infrastructure.

How does JCUA’s innovative strategy work towards community revitalization?

  1. JCUA helps to rebuild communities by providing zero-interest seed-funding for affordable housing development and preservation projects
  2. JCUA provides capacity-building assistance to community groups pursuing economic development projects
  3. JCUA advocates on behalf of affordable housing initiative
