This series takes a deep dive into the immigration system in the United States, including unparalleled access to ICE operations. We hope it can be a powerful tool for our knowledge on the US immigration system and how it intersects with systems of incarceration and criminalization in our country.
On Sundays from 3pm-4:30, we will use Netflix party to view this series together. We will send out instructions on downloading Netflix Party and the call links to those who register. Each week will consist of one episode of the series, a brief centering exercise, and a guided discussion. If you would like some assistance in understanding the Netflix Party extension, we will be hosting a 30 minute tech support zoom call before each viewing.
We hope this series can be a powerful tool in understanding the unjust system we find ourselves in so we can be ready to disrupt it.

This training will build off of our Racial Justice Training in order to help us get more clear as a community on antisemitism, its history and origins, the stakes of our current moment, how it affects our movement work, and how we can collectively move towards healing, liberation, and resilience. In these current times in which antisemitism and white supremacy are on the rise, it is as important as ever that we gain clarity and understanding around these topics so we can build a world that is safe for all

Kicking off the selection process for JCUA’s new campaign, we will have a brief training on problems vs. issues vs. campaigns, and build a shared understanding of the priority issue areas for JCUA members. We will then review JCUA’s Campaign Criteria and talk about the next phase of the process: campaign proposals.
