Join us for a Queer Youth Caucus meeting! Email dalya@jcua.org if you are interested in joining or hearing more.
The ECPS coalition is working to recruit candidates to run for the District Council seats in each of Chicago’s 22 police districts. Starting Sunday, August 14 in Logan Square, JCUA members will be canvassing and conducting public education about the ordinance and encouraging folks to get involved. It is going to take all of us to ensure this ordinance is effective and transformative. Please add your name to this spreadsheet with the date you can make it!
Join JCUA’s North Suburban Organizing Team for a picnic to get to know your fellow North Shore JCUA members and the work we plan to do together in the coming year. This will be a vegetarian potluck, so bring a side, salad, dessert, or drink to share with the group! We’ll meet in the picnic area near the baseball fields and the bathroom buildings.
Youth Organizing Caucus meeting to kick off the new school year! Join to catch up, hear what our youth summer interns have been working on, and think about how you want to be involved in the coming months!
Join the JCUA immigration committee to make decisions about our priorities for the next year! We do a lot of our work with our partners in the ICIRR coalition. We have an opportunity to shape the ICIRR 2023 Platform, and we want everyone to participate in the feedback process.
