For the final part of our three-part series, Susan Gzesh, Executive Director at the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights, will be joined by JCUA’s Marla Bramble and Fred Tsao of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) for a discussion about how KAM members and local residents can do to support our immigrant neighbors on the local, state, and national level. Senator Julie Morrison will be joining us for our first full NSOT meeting of the year to talk about the upcoming Springfield legislative session. We will also be giving updates from our recent Immigration and Fair Tax subcommittees. This will be a great opportunity for folks who are new to JCUA and the North Suburban team to see what we’re up to. Join us!

Interested in learning more about economic justice and the Fair Tax campaign? Join Silverstein Base Hillel, Mishkan Chicago, JCUA, Avodah, and Repair the World for our 4th annual Justice Series cohort. The cohort will meet every other week from 7-9pm on Wednesdays from February 5-April 3 (Feb 5, 19, March 4, March 18, April 3), concluding with a Shabbat dinner on Friday night.
