DREAM Act Action in DC
JCUA Stands with Dreamers in D.C.

Yesterday we joined Jews and Dreamers from across the country to occupy the Captiol and demand legislators pass a DREAM Act to protect our immigrant family. Our staff and membership were proud to be among those arrested in this historic act of civil disobedience. You can still take action today: call on your elected officials to stand for liberation, not deportation, for America’s 800,000+ Dreamers.

Watch Bend the Arc’s highlight video
from yesterday’s action.

Shabbat Dinners on Police Accountability

JCUA is building our partnership with Mishkan! We are cohosting Shabbat dinners in wards across the city to build power around police accountability. For more information about these dinners, what we are trying to accomplish and how to get involved,
check out this blog post from Mishkan Rabbi Lauren Henderson.
