Here is an example of what a month in the Fellowship might look like:
WEEK 1
Tuesday
6-9 pm Workshop: Organizing Illuminated – History of Jews in radical movements.
Wednesday
3-4 pm 1:1 Relational Meeting with co-fellow – Get to know them better and how they are connecting the Organizing Fellowship to their Education Major.
WEEK 2
Thursday
6-8 pm Action: Participate in GAPA (Grassroots Alliance for Police Accountability) community conversation to discuss oversight board for Chicago Police Department. Arrive 30 minutes early to prep for role – helping lead pump up chants to conclude the meeting.
WEEK 3
Monday
5:30-6:30 pm Action: Attend press conference to protest the repeal of DACA. Meet up with two fellows to make signs. Bring a friend! Wear your JCUA t shirt.
6:30-7:30 pm: 1:1 Relational Meeting with co-fellow – Start to discuss how you could plan a Shabbat event around social justice with students on your campus.
WEEK 4
Thursday
6-9 pm: Workshop: Winnable Campaigns – How to develop a strategic plan around a concrete goal.
