A PURIM IMMIGRATION ACTION IN THE SPIRIT OF ESTHER

Categories: Immigrant Rights, Immigration Reform, JCUA Campaigns, JCUA Events, JCUA Project and Campaign Endorsements

Join JCUA, AVODAH, Protected by Faith and our community partners to speak truth to power, in the spirit of our movement ancestor, Esther. Monday, February 26th marks the Senate’s first day back in session since their failed attempt to pass an immigration bill earlier in the month. Join the Chicagoland Jewish Community to tell our legislators: You have one week before families and communities are torn apart following the March 5th DACA deadline. You must act now.

Monday, February 26, 4:30 – 5:30 PM
Federal Plaza – 219 S. Dearborn St.
RSVP and More Info

Purim costumes, hats, tallitot, kippot, graggers, and noisemakers HIGHLY encouraged!
Questions? Contact Anna.

This will kick-off a Purim week of actions in solidarity with the Jewish community and our immigrant siblings, and in righteous protest against our legislators’ failure, culminating on March 5th with an action through Protected by Faith.
