Take Action for Immigration Justice with JCUA

 As we head into a period of mourning in the Jewish calendar, we must work together to repair the systems that are tearing immigrant families and lives apart. We must end the criminalization of immigrants and refugees in Chicago, Illinois and the United States. We cannot stand idly by.

Call Your Congressman – Vote NO on Compromise Bills
Congress is expected to vote this week on the far-right Goodlatte bill and a so-called “compromise” bill. Both bills offer no assurances of a permanent fix for DACA while increasing funding for a border wall and interior enforcement. Call your Congressman and tell them to vote NO on both bills.

SB 35 Safe Zones Call-In Day and Press Conference
Governor Rauner is expected to make a statement regarding the Campaign for a #WelcomingIL bills next week. There is concern that he will not support SB 35 Safe Zones which protects against ICE arrests at state-funded sensitive locations.

Join our partners at ICIRR and take action on Tuesday, June 26!
