We are so grateful to the nearly 400 guests who joined us for our 2018 Annual Acts of Change Dinner in celebration of JCUA’s work over the past year. The evening was a huge success, surpassing our fundraising goals and enabling JCUA to continue to grow its impact on social justice in Chicago.
We were honored to present Peggy Slater with the Rabbi Robert J. Marx Social Justice Award for her lifelong dedication to pursuing justice. We also heard inspiring words from Celene Adame and Genoveva Ramirez, who accepted the Courageous Voices Award on behalf of Organized Communities Against Deportations.
Thank you for helping us make this year’s event a success. You have added your voice as we call for courage and resolve today and in the year ahead in our work to create a more just city.
