Alissa Berman
Avodah Organizer
Alissa Berman (she/her) is JCUA’s Avodah Organizer for 2024-2025. She grew up outside of Seattle, Washington with her two parents, a younger sibling, and many, many pets. From a young age, her parents encouraged me to explore the importance of social justice. She studied anthropology at Whitman College, where she was a writing tutor, a tour guide, and worked with various student organizing movements. Outside of work, she loves going to concerts, trying new recipes, and spending time with her favorite people.
