On Tuesday, July 16, JCUA held a discussion with writer, researcher, and activist Ben Lorber on his new book Safety Through Solidarity: A Radical Guide to Fighting Antisemitism.

Ben’s book, co-written with Shane Burley, uses history, analysis and interviews to situate the fight against antisemitism where it belongs — alongside the fight against all forms of oppression.

During our conversation, Ben and JCUA community organizer Becca Lubow discussed what the discourse around antisemitism often gets wrong, the unique and growing threat of white Christian nationalism, and how Jews and allies are coming together to build a multiracial democracy.
