JCUA will be holding our annual Racial Justice Training on Sunday, May 17th from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm at SketchPad (4411 N. Ravenswood Ave.). This day-long training is led by a multiracial team of staff and leaders, and is designed for white and non-white people looking to strengthen their skills to dismantle racism and white supremacy within themselves, their work with JCUA, and throughout their lives. We will dive into our own racial identity development, white supremacy norms and their impact on our lives, the history and impact of white supremacy in America, and how we can work together to create sustainable pathways to resistance and resilience. This training is open to all JCUA members and coalition partners.
