Community Development Program Manager
Avery (they/them) joined the staff in 2026 to steward JCUA’s Community Ventures Program, our zero-interest revolving loan fund for affordable housing and community economic development. They previously worked in nonprofit operations, including two years managing the membership at a national network for community lenders. Currently, they also volunteer their time in the solidarity economy in Chicago. Outside of work, Avery loves to bike around the city, cook new recipes, and spend time with friends and family.
