We’re excited to announce a new Community Ventures Program (CVP) partnership with Saint Leonard’s Ministries to support the renovation of housing facilities in Chicago’s Near West Side neighborhood.

Saint Leonard’s House and Grace House are transitional housing programs that serve individuals recently released from incarceration, providing nine to twelve months of housing, case management, basic needs, life skills training, physical and mental health support, and substance use treatment.

JCUA is providing a $100,000 interest-free loan to Saint Leonard’s Ministries to support the critical pre-development phase of the renovation project. The renovation will rehabilitate three buildings and convert the rooms from dormitory style to 53 individual units.
