BurgerFest Canvass for Bring Chicago Home and Treif Havdallah

Join the Housing and Economic Justice Committee for a walking canvass at BurgerFest in the 32nd ward! We’ll meet outside the Starbucks at 1157 Wrightwood Ave at 3pm for a training on canvassing and on Bring Chicago Home, then walk to BurgerFest together and split up to do some canvassing. We know canvassing on Shabbat does not fit everyone’s Jewish practice, but if your practice allows, we encourage you to join. At 6pm, we’ll meet back up for a short and un-kosher Havdallah service.
